Ahoy folks. I'm finally back to the boat in Anacortes, after a long few months of many changes. I've sold the house in Woolwich ME, so will be at Rosalea's in Readfield when I'm in Maine. Selling the house frees up some $ to pick up the pace on Improbable!
Also have been helping out my mom, Anitia Jimenez, in Hendersonville NC, who has been having some memory issues and needed help organizing finances, etc. She'll be joining me in WA on Feb 4; we'll be looking at some senior communities to find a fun place for her to live.
I've been recovering from a nasty cold, while keeping up the OPE work and getting things organized to work on the boat. And of course have been distracted by the Vendee Globe, which has been cutting into sleep along with the aching sinuses. However I managed to replace the rotting wood on the roll-around scaffolding with new plywood. Was at risk of falling through!
Picking up a converted van today that will serve as the OPE west coast office, and as a clean place to recover from the interior sanding sessions in the boat. More on that soon...
