Mast bulkhead...

Been putting a lot of effort into the beefing up and refinishing of the bulkhead that's right in front of the mast. It's one of the very few areas of Improbable that wasn't quite right structurally. But it's all set now, basically indestructible...which is good as it transfers the loads of the keel and mast to the hull.

Anyhow....the pics don't do justice to the 1st coat of varnish on the aircraft grade birch ply. But it's going to look awesome next the white on the other surfaces, as will the laminated kauri frames and other highlighted wood.
