If it wasn't for the last minute....

...Nothing would ever get done...;-)

After seemingly endless preparation, today I put on one quart of red; however by then it was getting a bit hot for keeping a wet edge in the direct sunlight. So, I'll finish up the foredeck tomorrow, along with sanding and resealing the teak in the cockpit, before heading out (flying back tomorrow night, the 14th).

I'll pay mom a last visit on the way to SEA. She'll be on her own (sorta) for a month, at least now we've got the retirement inn nursing staff handling mom's meds now. It took a bit of effort to get that all set up; hopefully they'll stay on track and the meds help mom get her various levels within normal ranges.

I should be back in Anacortes by Aug 13 or 14; although I still need to book the flights...

Another project tomorrow is talking Jim Betts into moving the Farr 40 mast into his shop, so that I can have folks get going on the modifications, repainting, etc.
